Flaherty and James Colby; the brother of Joy M. Flaherty, Dennis Colby, Ruthann Colby, Mathew Colby, Brian M. Flaherty, Jon P. Flaherty and the late Patrick J. Flaherty and Gerard Colby; and the fiancé of Stacey Brack. BARBARA GREGORIO A memorial service was held Saturday, May 23 for Barbara (Donovan) Gregorio. She was the daughter of Elizabeth and the late Joseph Gregorio; the wife of Thomas Donovan; the mother of Joseph and Shana; and the sister of John, Joseph III, Timothy, Robert, Tony and Virginia. PAUL L. KELLEY Funeral services were held for Paul L. Kelley. He was the father of Paul J. Kelley of South Boston; the son of the late John H. and Mildred (Trefry) Kelley; the grandpa of Christopher Kelley; the brother of James Kelley of North Carolina, Robert Kelley of Charlestown, William Kelley of South Boston and the late John “Tommy” Kelley. ESTHER M. MORGAN A funeral mass was said Wednesday, May 27 in St. Ann Church, Quincy, for Esther M. Morgan. She was the sister of William T. Morgan of Weymouth, Paul F. Morgan of South Boston, Margaret E. Bellew of Groton, Mary E. Guarino of Reading and the late James A. Morgan, Jr., Joseph F. Morgan, and Robert J. Morgan; and the cousin of Sister Mary Owens, O.P. of Watertown. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. ESTHER PETERS A funeral mass will be said Thursday, May 28 in St. George Cathedral for Esther (Metro) Peters. She was the daughter of the late Dhoska and Evangjlina Metro; the wife of the late Charles (Kocho) Peters; the mother of Bill and Mimi Peters of Quincy, Louie and Linda Peters of Squantum and John and Reggie Peters of Sandwich; the grandmother of Jim and Cara Peters of Raynham, Bob and Agnes Peters of East Boston, Michael and Nina Peters of Plymouth, Brian and Carla Peters of South Boston, Kelly and Larry Peck of Andover and Tom and Annie Broderick of Scituate; the great grandmother of Brittany and Stephen Peck, Justin, Mia and Gregory Broderick, Madison and Justin Peters, Robert Yandle and Jake Peters; the sister of Demitra Popovich of South Boston and the late Peter Metro, Charles Metro and Evelyn Metro; and the sister-in-law of Mildred Metro of Cambridge and Eleanor Metro of Milton. ELLEN M. RILEY Memorial services were held in Texas for Ellen M. (Hartford) Riley. She was the mother of Ellen Costello and her husband James of Rockland, Thomas A. Riley, Jr. and his wife Jana and Dennis Riley, both of TX. She also leaves 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 6 brothers, and was preceded in death by her husband Thomas A. Riley, Sr. and 2 brothers. ELEANOR E. WOODMAN A funeral mass was said Wednesday, May 27 in St. Ann's Church, Quincy, for Eleanor E. “Ellie” (Dunscombe) Woodman. She was the wife of Robert T. Woodman; the mother of Robert Jr. and wife Dawn of Revere, Denise Moss and husband Scott of W. Hartford, CT, George and wife Jean of Billerica and Ann McCarthy and husband Jim of Scituate; the daughter of the late George and Mary Ellen Dunscombe; and the sister of the late Peggy Dolan and George Dunscombe, Jr. She also leaves 13 grandchildren. |
